This Privacy Policy explains how Öztract (“Öztract,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit oztract.com or use any related website, application, software, or services that allow you to submit content for processing by third-party artificial intelligence providers and receive generated summaries or other outputs (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

If you use AI-powered features, we may collect and process the prompts, uploaded or pasted content, instructions, and AI-generated outputs associated with your use of those features, along with related technical and usage metadata.

A. Information You Provide

We may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company name
  • Account login credentials
  • Billing name and billing address
  • Messages you send to us
  • Documents or text you upload or paste
  • Information submitted through forms, demos, support requests, surveys, or waitlists

B. Account and Subscription Information

If you create an account, subscribe to a paid plan, or manage a subscription, we may collect account status, subscription tier, renewal status, transaction history, and related customer support records as needed to maintain and deliver our Services.

C. Payment Information

If you purchase a paid subscription, payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers. Stripe may collect and process payment-related information, billing details, transaction data, IP address, device information, and information used for fraud prevention and payment authentication in accordance with Stripe’s own policies.

D. Usage and Device Information

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect the following data, among others:

  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • Referral URLs
  • Pages viewed
  • Clicks and interactions
  • Search activity
  • Session timestamps
  • Crash, performance, and diagnostic data

E. Content Sent to Third-Party AI Models

Öztract uses third-party artificial intelligence (“AI”) services — such as models provided by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, and similar providers — to generate summaries and other outputs.

When you use the Services, we may send the following information to these AI providers as part of your requests:

  • The text, documents, or other content you upload or paste into Öztract
  • Any prompts, instructions, or questions you submit
  • Limited contextual data needed to generate a useful response (for example, which summary type you selected or the feature you are using)

These AI providers process your content to generate outputs and may log certain information about the request in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review those policies for more details on how they handle data. Current AI providers may include, but are not limited to, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Perplexity, and may change over time.

Where available, we configure third-party AI providers so that content you submit through Öztract is not used to train or improve their general-purpose foundation models in a way that would expose your data to other customers. However, these providers may still retain limited logs for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes as described in their own documentation.

F. AI-Related Inputs and Outputs

The Services may rely on user-provided content, public materials, third-party sources, automated systems, and third-party artificial intelligence providers to generate summaries and other outputs. Öztract does not guarantee that any output, response, summary, analysis, or other content generated through the Services is accurate, complete, current, reliable, or fit for your specific purpose.

If you use AI-powered features, we may collect and process the prompts, structured inputs, source records, and AI-generated outputs associated with your use of those features, including generated summaries, insights, classifications, and related metadata.

2. How We Collect Information

We collect information:

  • Directly from you when you sign up, contact us, make a purchase, request support, or use the Services
  • Automatically through cookies, logs, analytics tools, and similar technologies
  • From service providers and third parties that help us operate the Services, including payment processors, analytics vendors, hosting providers, and data partners

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts
  • Process subscriptions and payments
  • Personalize user experience
  • Monitor usage, performance, abuse, and security
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you

  • To send your prompts and content to third-party AI providers so we can generate AI-assisted summaries and other outputs you request

Some cookies may be set by third-party providers, including analytics and payment-related providers. Depending on the jurisdiction, we may request your consent for non-essential cookies.

5. AI-Powered Features

Öztract may use artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to generate summaries, organize information, suggest insights, or assist with certain workflows. AI-generated content may be based on user inputs, public information, third-party data, and automated model outputs.

Because AI systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or fabricated output, you should not rely on AI-generated summaries or insights as the sole basis for legal, tax, financial, investment, real estate, compliance, or other important decisions. Independent review and verification are required before acting on any AI-generated content.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • With vendors and service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, analytics, customer support, infrastructure, email delivery, and payment processing providers
  • With Stripe to process payments, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, and support payment operations
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, or similar business transaction
  • To comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and security

We do not sell personal information for money.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with law, and protect the security and integrity of the Services. Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services, including Stripe, hosting, analytics, and AI service providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, and similar providers. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their independent privacy or security practices.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

12. International Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our vendors and service providers operate. Those jurisdictions may have different data protection laws than your own.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by updating the date above, posting a notice in the Services, or using other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Services after an update means the updated Privacy Policy will apply.
